Woonbeurssfeer III

Solid pastels: they stay hip in the coming year. The origami-lamps I saw at the stand of Tas-ka, Keecie and Snurk. The PomPoms in the second picture hang in the amazing and fresh 101 Woonideeen-house. A bomb of inspiration, their houses (they have two this year).

And everywhere at the fair I saw neon accents. I’ve loved fluorescent colors for a while now, but still can’t get enough of it. The bed (with analogue camera on the cushion!) was in the VT Wonen-house. The picture below was taken in the Eigen Huis en Interieur-pavillion. I was so impressed by it. Such a shame some of the photo’s I took were blank.

Woonbeurssfeer II

As some of you may know, I’ve got a thing for lamps. I really have to restrain myself to buy lamps I don’t have a place for. On the Woonbeurs my eyes went straight to the light-sources.
Above you see a garden house on the Seasons stand. I think it is awesome, the old light-shades on a colorful string. On the left below you see a lamp by Ontwerpduo in the house of VT Wonen. I saw the lamp last year at the Dutch Design Week and I’m still in love with it. On the right below, neon words in the container of The Frozen Fountain. The waterfall of letters of light: amazing.

Today I have been to the photographer to develop the filmrole I shot last saturday. And gladly it showed some pretty things! The following three days I will show the things I have seen at the Woonbeurs, through my viewfinder.
Pictures above are from the Ariadne-house. I don’t read the magazine regularly, but the house was so pretty: it was decorated with lovely pastels, lots of different textures and some accents in neon. If you love the PomPoms as much as I do: you can by them at webshop Een Nieuw Avontuur.

I’ve seen so much pretty stuff at the Woonbeurs, that it is almost undoable to give a recap. So hereby some highlights.
1 Jewellery by Daniëlle Vroemen. Triangles around my neck and in my ear? Yes, please!

2 Great wallpaper (above you see an example with buttons) by Studio Ditte.
3 Ceramics by Lenneke Wispelwey via Studio de Winkel. Especially the pineapple vase is on my wishlist for a very long time. But a lot of the stuff on this stand were mouthwatering, literally.

If you don’t have plans this week and are in the neighbourhood: you can visit the Woonbeurs until sunday.

Yesterday I went to the Woonbeurs Bloggers Meet up organized by VT Wonen, with Anki and Yvonne. It was so special to meet all these great bloggers and I’ve been so inspired by the Woonbeurs. I bought the brooches by Tas-ka as seen above, saw different interpretations of interior trends, was inspired by the Mariska Meijers stand (the pink logo above is hers) and made pictures with my analogue camera. So I need some patience to see the shots I took.
Furthermore I enjoyed my parents who came back with lots of stories from their first holiday together (usually they visit  family or friends or go on holiday with them, it was at least 30 years ago the went just the two of them), I  was so happy eating breakfast in the sun today and enjoyed the birthday of a friend who deserves a great new year of life.

What made me very happy this week too, were all these sweet comments and nice compliments on my blogbirthday. My heart made a leap seeing all those reactions! (By the way, there are only two cushions, but they each have different sides ;))

Take: an old frame, white spray paint and a beautiful rainbow penguin print by Rock that horse. New art on the wall! It does mean I have to think about the composition on the wall, I haven’t found the right balance yet.

>Give away!

>

It is time, the enigheid-blog is one year old and I’ve got gifts for you! Last week I’ve been slaving away behind the sewing machine and I have made two cushions. I am no skilled seamstress (cushion no. 1’s zipper is too small for example) but hopefully you’ll like them anyway.
How to join in on the fun: leave a comment below and state which of the cushions you like best. You don’t have to be a follower and you don’t have to live in the Netherlands, everyone can participate. You can leave a reaction untill wednesday the 5th of October: I’ll announce the winner a day later.

This week started a bit down: feeling ill with nothing but a cup of tea on the couch. Luckily I am feeling much better now and how to celebrate that better than with a bucket of chocolate ice-cream and a pretty new neon bread box? Furthermore, I am blogging for a year now! Hurray! I think that calls for a present: so later this week I’ll host my first give away…

It is a pity I don’t have the hot air balloon fully in sight! I’ll keep practicing with that Diana camera.

For more Lomo-saturday take a look at the blogs of initiator AnkiCasperMireille, MarritNikki, AukjeJudith and Marcia. And today Daan also participated!
