Gisteravond kwam hij weer thuis, mijn T. Een paar dagen alleen is best fijn, maar samen zijn is het allerfijnst.
Yesterday he came home again, my T. Being alone a few days is pretty nice, but being together is the best.

Mijn T. is de laatste tijd met onze keuken aan de gang: hij heeft alle verf verwijderd, kastjes groter gemaakt of juist kleiner, lades op maat gemaakt en gemonteerd en nu is hij de kastjes aan het verven. Veel werk, maar we zien vooruitgang!
My T. is working on the kitchen lately: stripping cabinets bare, making them bigger or smaller, adjust and assembling drawers and now he is painting. A lot of work, but we see progress!
Mijn T. is de afgelopen weken de keuken aan het schilderen. De lades zijn al egaal wit, nu is het de beurt aan de ombouw van de kastjes.

Het lek onder de vloer in de bijkeuken is inmiddels gelukkig opgelost (T. is een superklusser) en er is nog meer vooruitgang geboekt: de stoep is opengebroken en er zijn nieuwe electra-leidingen gelegd. Wij zeggen in het Zuiden: kost wè, hedde wè.
The leak under the floor in the utility room has been taken care of (T. is a super handyman) and we made some more progress: the pavement has been opened up and we now have new electricity cables. In the south of Holland we say: costs some, you have some.
Bij een verlaten en vervallen huis is het mooi foto’s maken, vooral met een oude camera als mijn Agfa Optima 200 Sensor. Later volgen meer foto’s uit deze serie, maar ik vond dat dit plaatje van T. een post op zichzelf verdiende.
It is nice to take pictures at a deserted and worn out house, especially with an old camera like my Agfa Optima 200 Sensor. I will post more of this set later on, but think this picture of T. deserves a post of it’s own.

Vorige week vond ik bij de kringloop een oude analoge Nikon spiegelreflex. Het is een FG-20, met 35-70 mm lens. Er is niet echt meer sprake van lomografie (het zijn geen snapshots), maar ik ben wel enorm blij met het resultaat.
Last week I found an old analogue Nikon reflex camera at the thrift store. It is a FG-20, with 35-70 mm lens. It’s not really lomography anymore (these are no snapshots), but I’m incredibly happy with the results.
