Kiki en
Joost zitten sinds een paar maanden met hun atelier, bedrijf en showroom op Strijp-T. Tijdens de DDW stellen zij deze ruimte open voor publiek en voor de tentoonstelling
T-Presentation. Sjonge, wat een hoop moois, mijn hoofd tolde. Hierboven links tekeningen aan de waslijn (de kunstenaar heb ik niet kunnen achterhalen) en rechts een aantal fenomenale producten van
Ontwerpduo. Die lampen vond ik
vorig jaar al inspirerend en ook op mijn
Woonbeurs-foto’s vond ik ze terug.
Designduo Kiki and Joost moved to a new studio, workshop and showroom at Strijp-T a couple of months ago. During DDW they’ve opened their space for the public and for an exposition called T-Presentation. Gosh, so much beauty my head was spinning. On the top to the left drawings on a line (I wasn’t able to find out who the artist is) and to the right a few phenomenal products by Ontwerpduo. Last year I found these lamps to be very inspiring already and I rediscovered them on my Woonbeurs-pictures too.
Het werk van Kiki en Joost en hun invulling van de werkruimte, waren voor mij de grootste verrassing van afgelopen zaterdag. Hierboven links een deel van de showroom en rechts Kiki’s installatie Nursery, waar zaden en kiemen vertroeteld worden.
The work of Kiki and Joost and the way they designed their space, were to me the biggest surprise of last saturday. Above to the left you see a part of their showroom and to the right Kiki’s installationNursery, where seeds and germs are being pampered.
