Instagram + give-away

I love instagram. I really do. Seeing snapshots of the lives from so many people all around the world is great. And I also love showing my pictures with friends, family and instagrammers. Elvera has an instagram-feature on her blog called #instacorner and asked me to join. I was so honoured ofcourse I wanted to send in my pics! You can find my #instacorner here.

You can either choose a standard photo album, finally print your most gorgeous instagram-pictures or even print a blog book. It’s up to you! What you have to do to join: leave a comment below and tell me about your favorite picture. The give-away is open to international readers and you can join until the 10th of February.

Lomo-saturday

I totally forgot I took these images, a few months ago. This is why I love analogue photography so much, the pictures never cease to amaze me.

Candles

My house is filled with candles. I love their orange light on dark days.

On my wall a pretty card by Muswerk, an embroidery of me by Emmel, beautiful gift-wrap paper from Nineteen Seventy Three bought at Werk aan de Winkel, anchor by Lenneke Wispelwey, birds from Urban Outfitters and the large plate by Remember, gift from my sweet friend Anki a few years ago.

Mijn huis staat vol kaarsen.

Lomo-saturday

About two years ago I found this vintage camera at a flea market and I’ve developed the role of film that was still in it. So much fun to see snow fun in the eighties (?). Looking outside right now the world seems so much the same.

Bake a cake

My dad and I were at a bookstore this weekend and I found this cookbook by Uitgeverij Snor on sale. It is so pretty, I don’t even care whether I ever use it. (The picture is taken with my digital camera and my Diana flash. Fun!)

Grappig!)

Winterdays

It is cold in the Netherlands, but with a crisp blue sky and some pink clouds. I love winter days like these. I watched the documentary Brief Encounters about photographer Gregory Crewdson: highly recommended.

Thursday

I am still enjoying my Christmas ornaments. I’ve always been told you are allowed to keep them up until the 6th of January (the day of the three kings). And I won’t mess with our family traditions. 😉

The candleholders I found at a thrift store recently and the deer on the last picture is by Planet Fur.
